Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer for its Risk Management team in Bengaluru. You will design, enhance, and maintain mission-critical systems used to evaluate bad actor risk across orders, sign-ins, listings, and more.

You will work on microservices, leverage Gen AI technologies, and participate in on-call rotations while delivering scalable, low-latency solutions at internet scale.

The Core Services team owns the charter of evaluating bad actor risk of all kinds (Buyer, Seller, Brand, Vendor) across entities such as Orders, Returns, Sign-ins, Listings and any event that will be useful to evaluate risky behavior. We build self-service capabilities to experiment and launch new use cases while making it easy to on-board and manage existing ones all over the world. We are the gate keepers of customer trust by preventing bad actors from doing damage to good customers or scamming Amazon. The problems we solve will challenge the best in terms of scale (100s of billion evaluations) and latency (think milliseconds) while operating at the lowest cost. As the Software Development Engineer, you will design, enhance and maintain mission critical systems leveraging best of breed technologies with AI first mindset. Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
