Job summary

Amazon Pay SDE II in India is seeking a passionate software developer to deliver high-quality platform solutions that enable Amazon Pay to scale as the universal wallet for Amazon buyers and merchants. You will work on complex problems, with mentoring and opportunities to grow within Amazon.

You will design and build large-scale, distributed systems for 24/7 operations, focusing on reliability, scalability and performance, collaborating with top engineers and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• Knowledge of SDLC best practices including coding standards, architectures, code reviews, source control, deployment, testing and operational excellence.
• Experience contributing to architecture and design focusing on reliability and scaling.

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
• Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
