Job summary

ADCI - Maharashtra is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to build, scale, monitor, and optimize AFFS systems within Amazon’s eCS organization. You will work with multiple teams including Retail/Marketplace/Digital and financial systems, delivering robust software in a fast-paced, highly scalable environment.

The successful candidate will contribute to all stages of the software lifecycle, from design to deployment, and will collaborate with peers to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

As SDE II here, you will build, scale, monitor, and optimize systems within AFFS. You will interface with several teams including Retail Systems, Marketplace Systems, Digital Systems, Web services, Financial systems and operations. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to all parts of the software development and deployment lifecycle, including design, development, documentation, testing and operations. They need to enjoy working closely with their peers in a group of very smart and talented engineers.

Key job responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
