Kratikal Tech Limited seeks a Software Development Engineer with 2+ years of backend experience to build scalable APIs and microservices. You will design, implement, and review code, optimize performance, and collaborate across product, QA, DevOps, and frontend teams.

AI-assisted development tools are part of daily work to boost productivity. Qualifications include a Tier-1 degree and hands-on Node.js, NestJS/Express, and database experience.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold a Tier 1 institute degree (IITs/NITs or equivalent).
• 2+ years of work experience with Node.js.
• Proficiency with NestJS or Express.js and REST APIs.
• MySQL and MongoDB experience; Redis and JWT/OAuth knowledge.
• Git, Docker, CI/CD, and basic cloud knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Hands-on AI development experience with tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Gemini Code Assist.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer with 2+ years of experience building scalable backend applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, databases, microservices, code reviews, and modern AI‑assisted development tools.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and REST APIs.
• Build secure, high‑performance microservices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Integrate databases, third‑party services, and cloud platforms.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Frontend teams.
• Leverage AI tools to improve development productivity.

Requirements

• Candidates must hold a B.Tech / M.Tech / BCA / MCA from a Tier 1 institution (IITs, NITs, or equivalent institutes)
• 2+ years of work experience with Node.js
