Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced engineer to design and validate diagnostics system software spanning pre-silicon and post-silicon for client SoCs. The role collaborates with firmware, BIOS, hardware, and architecture teams to troubleshoot complex platform issues and drive root-cause analysis.

The ideal candidate has 6–9 years in system software diagnostics, strong C++ skills, and deep knowledge of FCH IPs like I2C/I3C/UART/SATA/SPI/eSPI/ACPI, plus server RAS experience and PCIe/MCA expertise

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of experience in system software/diagnostics.
• Proficient in C++ programming.
• Experience with post-silicon development and validation.
• In-depth understanding of FCH IPs including I2C, I3C, UART, SATA, SPI, eSPI, ACPI.
• Familiar with server RAS architectures and firmware flows.
• Experience with DDR/PCIe error injection, detection and recovery.
• Knowledge of MCA, ECC, CRC, DRAM scrubbers, PCIe AER.
• Familiarity with PC hardware, SoC, chipsets, BIOS and firmware.

• Perform RAS validation, including DDR and PCIe error injection, detection, recovery, and analysis of MCA, ECC, CRC, DRAM scrubbers, and PCIe AER scenarios.

We are looking for an experienced engineer with an obsession for system software and computer architecture. As part of the role, this engineer will work closely with other diagnostics engineers, developers, and architects across various teams in designing and implementing diagnostics system software that spans across pre-silicon and post-silicon for all client SoCs.
