Job description

Software Development Engineer (High Tech)

Responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining end‑user applications, operating systems, and utility software that serves external customers.

• Conduct requirements gathering and analysis to understand the domain, functionality, and interface between hardware and software.
• Write software code using programming, scripting, and/or database languages.
• Support testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities, including issue resolution, scope changes, and code enhancements.
• Apply software development best practices: coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.

Team Leadership and Management

On this level, you possess advanced knowledge and experience and lead new solutions/projects. You share best practices, mentor peers, and coordinate work for lower‑level specialists. You serve as a single point of contact for complex matters, manage a mixed team of Specialists and Support roles, and oversee the implementation of short‑to‑medium term activities within the team.

Provide inputs to policies, processes, and standards at a tactical and operational level within a defined scope.
