Job summary

SA Technologies is hiring a Design Quality Leader (ASPICE) in Pune. The role leads the Design Quality Assurance activities for the program, planning and tracking Design Quality from quotation to launch, and supporting risk management and compliance in automotive electronics.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in electronics development for automotive, with proven experience in quality, functional safety, and cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in Development of electronics in Automotive.
• Proven experience in Quality, Functional Safety, and/or Cybersecurity.
• Assessor/Auditor experience with potential certifications like ASPICE Provisional (Nice to have).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or similar (System, Software, or Hardware).
• English fluent; additional regional language a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Design Quality Assurance activities for the program from quotation till launch.
• Plan and execute Design Quality Assurance activities and track Design Quality maturity.
• Support quotations related to Design Quality including budget planning and feasibility for commitments.
• Review Development Strategy including tailoring and reuse strategies to support risk management and compliance.
• Create the Design Quality Assurance Plan and track status of Design Quality activities.

Requirement/Description:

Essential responsibilities and duties

The Design Quality Leader leads the Design Quality Assuranceactivities for program. Therefore, the Design Quality Leader plans andexecute Design Quality Assurance activities and track the maturity of DesignQuality of a program – from quotation till Launch.

The main missions of the role are:

• Supportquotations related to Design Quality including budget planning and ensurefeasibility for commitments related to Design Quality topics (e.g. ASPICEtarget level)
• Reviewthe Development Strategy including the tailoring and reuse strategy forthe development to support Risk Management and to avoid compliance issues
• Createthe Design Quality Assurance Plan based on the program needs and trackthe track the status of Design Quality activities based on the plan
• ConductScans for the topics of ASPICE, Functional Safety, and Cybersecurity
• Identify,document, and track non-conformances and support the solving process
• Supportpotential Assessments in the context of ASPICE, Functional Safety andCybersecurity based on the Scan evaluations
• Performreviews on work products / deliverables and support the creation of them basedon the Development process at FCE (I2P-20-10) and / or PMS
• Supportmaturity evaluations for Gates / Milestones or Sample Deliveries to the customerand report the status towards the Design Quality Manager and the team
• Reportthe program status regularly towards the Design Quality Manager and theteam members of the program (especially Product Development Leader andProgram Quality Leader) and initiate proactively necessary escalations
• SupportRisk management/assessment for deviations and recommend actions
• Supportthe collection and reporting of the Design Quality Indicators towardsregional/ division level and/or BG level
• Supportthe team with problem solving methods, and moderate problem-solvingmethods including lessons learned (e.g. FMEA moderation, 5Why, Ishikawaetc.)

Support the team with coaching activities and process deploymentactivities for potential weaknesses based on experience (e.g. for RequirementsEngineering)

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have/be :

Minimum Education Level with major: Bachelor's or Master's degree inEngineering or similar (System, Software, or Hardware prefered)

Language ： Englishfluent, further language relevant for the region / division prefered

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years experience inDevelopment of electronics in Automotive
• Proven experience in thecontext of Quality, Functional Safety, and/or Cybersecurity

Nice to have: Assessor / Auditor experience with potentialcertifications, like ASPICE Provisional

Skills and competencies:

• Strong knowledge ofDevelopment processes for Electronics in Automotive (V-Model / V-Cycle)
• Background in System,Software, or Hardware Development
• Knowledge about ASPICE,Functional Safety, and/or Cybersecurity and their application
• Knowledge of tools within theR&D context, like for Requirements Engineering, Architecture Design,Testing, or FMEA
• Proficiency in furtherquality methods, like 5Why, Ishikawa, 8D etc.
• Excellent communicationskills and capability to influence and negotiate
• Confident in drivingescalations, but in a collaborative and solution-oriented way
• Proficiency in identifyingprocess weaknesses and developing improvement strategies
• Experienced in implementingpractical and sustainable solutions
• Highly motivated and able towork independently
