Job summary

SonicWall is seeking a Client Software Engineer to join our team building cloud-managed endpoint security applications. You will develop across Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS, contributing to secure and reliable endpoints.

The role spans design, development and maintenance of client-side software across multiple platforms, with a hybrid work model. Bring 3+ years of software experience, strong C/C++ skills, and familiarity with Golang.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and experience on Windows, macOS or Linux.
• Familiarity with Golang or willingness to learn and work with it.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, OS concepts, and system programming.
• Good communication and collaboration skills in an agile environment.

• Understanding of multithreaded programming, debugging, and software troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred

• Experience developing system services or endpoint software on Windows or macOS.
• Familiarity with Windows internals, security concepts, or driver development.
• Familiarity with macOS system extensions, Endpoint Security Framework (ESF), Swift, or Objective-C.
• Experience with cross-platform development and platform-specific APIs.
• Exposure to cybersecurity or endpoint security products.
• Familiarity with Vue3.js or other modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with mobile development (iOS or Android).
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools.
