Job summary

SonicWall is seeking a Client Software Engineer to develop cloud-managed endpoint security applications across Windows and Linux. You will design, develop, and maintain software spanning multiple platforms with exposure to Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, and AWS cloud technologies.

You will collaborate with QA and product teams to deliver high-quality features, improve performance and security, and contribute to engineering best practices in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in software development.
• Solid CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, OS, system programming.
• Proficiency in C++.
• Experience developing apps for Windows or Linux.
• Familiarity with Golang or willingness to learn.
• Understanding of multithreaded programming, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an agile development environment.

In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of endpoint security software across multiple platforms, helping deliver secure and reliable experiences for our customers.

Preferred

• Experience developing system services or endpoint software on Windows or Linux.

• Familiarity with Vue3.js or other modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools.
