Job summary

Cognyte in Pune, India, is seeking an experienced Software Automation Engineer to join our cyber intelligence team in a hybrid, full-time role. You will contribute to state-of-the-art security technologies, working within a cross-functional agile automation development team.

The role emphasizes automation development, test lifecycle support, and collaboration with global development and QA teams. A strong background in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java and API services is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' hands-on experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript and Java.
• Experience with REST and SOAP web services APIs.
• Experience with automation development processes and tools.
• Experience with source control systems such as GIT and SVN.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Function as a major part of a cross-functional high performing agile automation development team.
• Responsible for all automation development and spec writing to support the system automation tests lifecycle.
