Job summary

Intel Bangalore is seeking a Software Application Development Engineer to design, develop, test, and debug full-stack applications powering Intel Foundry's manufacturing processes. You will work across frontend and backend, collaborating with global teams to deliver scalable software solutions.

You should have 3+ years of hands-on software development, strong C# and Python skills, .NET Core, SQL, and experience with CI/CD, Git, and REST APIs. The role requires on-site presence in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, with 3+ years of hands‑on experience in software development; or Master's degree in a relevant field with 2+ years of experience; or PhD with no prior professional experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C# and Python.
• Solid experience with .NET Core and SQL databases.
• Hands‑on expertise in ETL processes, data pipeline setup, and debugging of data‑related issues.
• Familiarity with Git/Azure DevOps workflows and frameworks.
• Experience with Microsoft development tools, Linux or Microsoft operating systems, and Oracle or Microsoft database technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PowerShell, Matlab, and reporting tools like PowerBI.
• Knowledge of process control concepts, model‑based run‑to‑run control, and factory automation systems.
• Exposure to Machine Learning and AI models, Docker, Kubernetes, and production‑quality software development.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, debugging expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Experience as an independent researcher or contributor in research projects across industry or academia.
