Job summary

Better Insights, a Pune-based digital marketing and branding agency, seeks a curious Social Media Intern to gain hands‑on experience running live brand accounts. You will contribute to content ideas, calendars, and captions while coordinating with design teams and learning measurement basics.

The role offers mentorship from an experienced digital marketing team, with a path to a full‑time role based on performance. On‑site Pune placement with a 6‑month minimum duration and a monthly stipend.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, BBA, or a related field.
• Active social media user with a strong understanding of Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Good written English; Hindi/Marathi a plus.
• Basic familiarity with Canva, Meta Business Suite, or any scheduling tool.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
• Eagerness to learn and take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Conduct competitor research and benchmark content, engagement, and trends across client industries.
• Prepare monthly content calendars aligned with client goals and key dates.
• Shape content ideas using customer psychology and audience behaviour.
• Coordinate with design and video teams to brief, review, deliver creatives on time.
• Schedule posts across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube using scheduling tools.
• Write captions and short‑form copy in the brand's tone of voice.
• Monitor trends and suggest timely content ideas.
• Flag queries or leads from comments/DMs to the relevant team.
• Compile weekly/monthly performance reports (reach, engagement, follower growth).
• Support influencer outreach and collaborations as required.
• Maintain organized content libraries and brand asset folders.
• Contribute ideas in brainstorming sessions for campaigns and launches.

Better Insights is a Pune-based digital marketing and branding agency working with brands across education, healthcare, real estate, and more. We're looking for a curious, creative Social Media Intern who wants hands‑on experience running real brand accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct competitor research and benchmark content, engagement, and trends across client industries
• Prepare monthly content calendars aligned with client goals, festivals, and key dates
• Understand customer psychology and audience behaviour to shape content ideas, hooks, and messaging
• Coordinate with the graphic design and video editing teams to brief, review, and deliver creatives on time
• Schedule posts across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube using scheduling tools
• Write captions, hashtags, and short‑form copy in the brand's tone of voice
• Track trending audio, reel formats, and memes, and suggest timely content ideas
• Monitor comments and DMs, and flag queries or leads to the relevant team
• Compile weekly and monthly performance reports (reach, engagement, follower growth)
• Support influencer outreach and collaborations when required
• Maintain an organized content library and brand asset folders for each client
• Contribute ideas in brainstorming sessions for campaigns and launches

What We're Looking For
