Role Description

The Social Media Executive & Content Creator is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhuj. This role is responsible for managing the organization’s social media presence across platforms, including planning and publishing posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner. The individual will create original content such as captions, visuals, short videos, and stories that showcase the properties, services, offers, and local experiences. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with hotel teams to gather updates, scheduling campaigns, tracking performance metrics, and suggesting improvements based on insights. The role also involves collaborating with marketing and operations to ensure consistent branding and supporting promotional activities, events, and special packages through social media.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in social media management and content creation, including planning, posting, and engagement tracking across major platforms.
• Ability to develop basic content strategies aligned with brand goals, and translate property updates and offers into compelling digital stories.
• Proficiency in writing clear, engaging, and grammatically accurate captions and posts, with attention to detail in editing and proofreading.
• Experience or familiarity with digital marketing concepts such as audience targeting, campaign scheduling, and performance analytics.
• Basic skills in visual content tools (e.g., Canva, Professional photo/video editing software) to create attractive social media creatives.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with on-site teams and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Prior experience in hospitality, travel, or lifestyle brands is an advantage.
• Relevant education in Marketing, Communications, Media, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Comfort working on-site in Bhuj and a strong interest in learning about local culture, events, and attractions to enrich content.
