Job summary

Devastram is hiring a Social Media Associate in India to craft engaging devotional content, edit videos, and manage posting across platforms. You will develop weekly content calendars, create AI-enhanced assets, and monitor engagement to drive growth and brand trust.

You will leverage CapCut, Premiere Pro, and AI tools to produce short-form videos, reels, and educational content that resonates with audiences while honoring Indian culture.

Qualifications

• Basic video editing skills with CapCut, VN, Premiere Pro or Final Cut.
• Strong understanding of Instagram Reels and current trends.
• Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini.
• Excellent Hindi and English communication.
• Passion for devotional content and Indian culture.

Responsibilities

Content Creation

• Create Instagram Reels, Shorts, and social media videos.
• Assist in planning weekly and monthly content calendars.
• Convert ideas into engaging social media content.
• Create devotional, educational, and product-focused content.

Video Editing

• Edit Reels, Shorts, and promotional videos.
• Add subtitles, transitions, music, hooks, and captions.
• Create high-retention videos optimized for Instagram and Facebook.
• Repurpose long-form videos into multiple short-form clips.

AI Content Creation

• Use ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and other AI tools for content generation.
• Create AI-generated images and concepts using ChatGPT Images, Gemini, Midjourney, etc.
• Create simple AI videos using tools such as Kling, Runway, Veo, Pika, or similar platforms.
• Research new AI tools and suggest ways to improve content creation efficiency.

Social Media Management

• Schedule posts on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and Pinterest.
• Upload content with proper captions, hashtags, and tags.
• Monitor comments, messages, and engagement.
• Track content performance and share weekly reports.

Research & Trend Analysis

• Research trending reels, audio, and content formats.
• Study competitors and devotional content creators.
• Suggest new content ideas and storytelling angles.

Requirements

Must Have

• Basic video editing skills (CapCut, VN, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, etc.)
• Good understanding of Instagram Reels and social media trends.
• Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and image-generation tools.
• Strong communication skills in Hindi and English.
• Passion for devotional content and Indian culture.

Bonus Skills

• Canva or Photoshop knowledge.
• Motion graphics experience.
• On-camera confidence for creating UGC-style videos.
• Experience creating AI-generated videos.
