Job summary

Contactx Resource Management is seeking a Security Operations Manager to lead and manage 24x7 SOC operations across client environments. You will supervise L1–L3 analysts, drive incident monitoring, and ensure rapid response with SIEM platforms including Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, and more.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication with stakeholders, and experience with enterprise security controls. On-call may be required to support a dynamic, multi-site operation.

Qualifications

• Must have strong SOC operations, incident response, and SIEM management experience.
• Working knowledge of EDR, AV, Firewall, IPS, Deception, and network/endpoint security.
• Understanding MITRE ATT&CK, threat landscape, and IR lifecycle.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience managing enterprise or critical infrastructure environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SOC teams (L1/L2/L3) across 24x7 operations.
• Oversee incident monitoring, investigation, escalation, and response activities.
• Ensure effective use and performance of SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, RSA SA, Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, etc.).
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, SOPs, and playbooks.
• Review incidents, RCA reports, dashboards, and operational metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement, process optimization, and team skill development.
• Support audits, compliance, and governance requirements.
• Manage roster planning, shift coverage, and resource utilization.
