Job summary

Forward Eye Technologies is seeking a seasoned cybersecurity professional to join our security engineering team in Pune. You will bring 6+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, network security and IT infrastructure, with deep work on the Akamai Guardicore platform.

You will design and tune Guardicore segmentation, manage firewall policies, understand TCP/IP and complex hybrid cloud architectures, and automate tasks with PowerShell.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in cybersecurity or IT infrastructure with hands-on Akamai Guardicore experience.
• Expertise in Guardicore segmentation and firewall policy operations.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP and complex hybrid cloud architectures.
• Proficient in PowerShell for automation and scripting.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Required Skills and Experience :

• 6 Plus Proven experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT infrastructure, with significant hands-on experience specifically with the Akamai Guardicore platform.
• Expertise in Akamai Guardicore Segmentation (formerly Guardicore Centra).
• Strong understanding of network flows, protocols (TCP/IP), and firewall policy operations.
• Knowledge of complex application architectures and hybrid cloud environments.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell for automation and administration.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex security issues and tune policies effectively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization

Preferred Skills and Experience :

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology ,Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Guardicore Certified Segmentation Engineer (GCSE) or Administrator (GCSA)
• Security Certifications such as CEH & CISSP
