Job summary

Forward Eye Technologies seeks a seasoned cybersecurity professional in Mumbai to bolster our security posture. You will leverage Akamai Guardicore Centra to segment and protect complex hybrid cloud environments, optimize firewall policies, and automate repetitive tasks with PowerShell.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in cybersecurity, strong networking knowledge and excellent communication to coordinate with technical and non-technical teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in cybersecurity, network security or IT infra with Akamai Guardicore exposure.
• Expertise in Akamai Guardicore Segmentation (Centra).
• Strong knowledge of networks, TCP/IP and firewall policy operations.
• Experience with complex applications and hybrid cloud environments.
• PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills; able to convey findings to stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience

• 6 Plus Proven experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT infrastructure, with significant hands‑on experience specifically with the Akamai Guardicore platform.
• Expertise in Akamai Guardicore Segmentation (formerly Guardicore Centra).
• Strong understanding of network flows, protocols (TCP/IP), and firewall policy operations.
• Knowledge of complex application architectures and hybrid cloud environments.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell for automation and administration.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex security issues and tune policies effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology ,Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Guardicore Certified Segmentation Engineer (GCSE) or Administrator (GCSA)
• Security Certifications such as CEH & CISSP
