Forward Eye Technologies in Chennai, India is seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to join our security practice. You will bring hands-on expertise with Akamai Guardicore and lead segmentation, policy tuning, and threat mitigation across hybrid cloud environments.

The role requires strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP), firewall operations, and automation with PowerShell, plus clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in cybersecurity, network security, or IT infra with hands-on Guardicore experience.
• Expertise in Guardicore Segmentation.
• Strong understanding of networks, TCP/IP, and firewall policy operations.
• Knowledge of complex application architectures and hybrid cloud environments.
• Familiarity with PowerShell for automation.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration.

Required Skills and Experience :

• 6 Plus Proven experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT infrastructure, with significant hands-on experience specifically with the Akamai Guardicore platform.
• Expertise in Akamai Guardicore Segmentation (formerly Guardicore Centra).
• Strong understanding of network flows, protocols (TCP/IP), and firewall policy operations.
• Knowledge of complex application architectures and hybrid cloud environments.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell for automation and administration.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex security issues and tune policies effectively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization

Preferred Skills and Experience :

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology ,Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Guardicore Certified Segmentation Engineer (GCSE) or Administrator (GCSA)
• Security Certifications such as CEH & CISSP
