Job summary

Forward Eye Technologies is seeking a seasoned cybersecurity specialist in India to drive protection across networks and cloud environments. You will leverage Akamai Guardicore to segment, monitor, and secure hybrid architectures while collaborating with engineers and security teams.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on Guardicore experience, strong scripting skills (PowerShell), and a proven ability to analyze and resolve complex security issues with clear communication across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6+ years proven experience in cybersecurity, network security or IT infra with hands-on Akamai Guardicore platform.
• Expertise in Guardicore Segmentation (Centra).
• Strong understanding of network flows, TCP/IP and firewall policy operations.
• Knowledge of complex app architectures and hybrid cloud environments.
• Familiarity with PowerShell for automation and admin tasks.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for security issues and policy tuning.
• Strong verbal and written communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience

• 6 Plus Proven experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT infrastructure, with significant hands‑on experience specifically with the Akamai Guardicore platform.
• Expertise in Akamai Guardicore Segmentation (formerly Guardicore Centra).
• Strong understanding of network flows, protocols (TCP/IP), and firewall policy operations.
• Knowledge of complex application architectures and hybrid cloud environments.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell for automation and administration.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex security issues and tune policies effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology ,Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Guardicore Certified Segmentation Engineer (GCSE) or Administrator (GCSA)
