Job summary

Job description

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering large-scale global IT projects across various business and service units, utilizing both waterfall and agile methodologies. The role requires expertise in SAP, Non-SAP applications, M&A initiatives, and Technology Operations to ensure timely project delivery, efficient resource management, and compliance with regulations. Additionally, the Senior Project Manager will mentor junior project managers and contribute to refining project management processes within the PMO team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute projects on time, within budget, and with the agreed-upon scope.
• Oversee complex solutions involving SAP and Non-SAP IT applications, M&A initiatives, and Technology Operations projects
• Collaborate with project requestors to understand their true needs and creatively deliver tailored solutions.
• Negotiate with stakeholders and suppliers to secure necessary resources and materials.
• Ensure solutions are well-integrated into global services and meet the identified needs.
• Identify and manage risks with project requestors and management to ensure efficient project delivery
• Oversee complex programs involving SAP and Non-SAP IT applications, M&A initiatives, and Technology Operations projects
• Mentor and coach less experienced project managers to enhance their skills and project management maturity.
• Apply global standards, policies, and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
• Lead efforts to continuously improve processes and procedures.
• Optimize resource management to achieve results with minimal effort investment.
• Manage vendors to ensure high-quality results in a cost-effective manner.
• Assist Project Portfolio Management in meeting financial targets and driving improvements
• Provide guidance to less experienced project managers, helping them navigate challenges and advance their skills.
  

Requirements

• At Least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Project management certification or equivalent experience.
• Over 10 years of experience leading international IT projects with at least 6 years managing large, complex IT projects across diverse areas.
• Excellent interpersonal, intercultural, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Proven experience in leading international projects, working with business leadership, and collaborating with multiple IT teams.
• Demonstrated experience in managing enterprise-wide SAP transformation initiatives, Non-SAP IT applications, M&A projects, and Technology Operations initiatives.
• Inspires and develops project teams while enhancing project management skills.
• Communicates effectively, engaging stakeholders and building strong relationships at all levels.
• Evaluates complex situations, anticipates challenges, and develops creative solutions.
• Achieves project goals within budget and deadlines, maintaining high-quality standards.
• Respects and understands diverse cultures, ensuring effective global collaboration.
• Identifies client needs and delivers solutions aligned with business objectives to ensure satisfaction.
