Job summary

Velvu Technologies Pvt Ltd. in Jaipur seeks an SMT Engineer with hands-on TRI AOI and SPI experience to oversee programming, optimization, defect analysis and process improvement for high-quality PCB assemblies.

You will create inspection programs, analyze AOI/SPI results, monitor solder paste quality, support NPI activities, and maintain production records.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with TRI AOI and TRI SPI systems.
• Knowledge of SMT production processes.
• Ability to interpret PCB layouts, Gerber files, and BOMs.
• Knowledge of solder paste inspection parameters.
• Familiarity with SMT machines such as Printer, Pick & Place, Reflow Oven, AOI, and SPI.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, program, and maintain TRI AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) and TRI SPI (Solder Paste Inspection) machines.


• Create and optimize inspection programs for new PCB models.


• Analyses AOI and SPI inspection results and minimize false calls.


• Monitor solder paste printing quality using SPI reports.


• Improve first-pass yield (FPY) by reducing process defects.


• Perform machine calibration, verification, and preventive maintenance.


• Prepare inspection reports and maintain production records.


• Support NPI (New Product Introduction) activities.

Requirements:

• Hands‑on experience with TRI AOI and TRI SPI systems.
