Job summary

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager (Compliance) to strengthen legal and regulatory adherence across the organization. You will lead the online regulatory compliance system, update Code of Conducts and policies, and design training programs.

Regular engagement with cross‑functional teams will ensure timely reporting and risk mitigation. You will report to the Department Head, Internal Compliance, and use your strong legal background to guide automotive manufacturing

Qualifications

  • A full‑time, regular bachelor’s or master’s degree in law (LL. B/ LL. M) or equivalent from UGC/ AICTE approved university/ college.
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements specific to automotive or large manufacturing enterprise, covering Employment & Labour, Environment, Health & Safety, IT & Data Privacy etc.
  • Hands‑on experience with online compliance management tools and MS Excel. Experience in Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Online Regulatory Compliance System across the organization and ensure timely submission of compliance status.
  • Design, review and update the Company’s Code of Conduct and compliance policies; develop training modules and deliver training on policies and tools.
  • Prepare and deliver compliance reports, insights, and recommendations to Management using PowerPoint and presentations; monitor regulatory changes and impact.

  • Compliance management experience (directly working with or as consultant to manufacturing industry). Candidates with experience of managing only company secretarial compliances are not being shortlisted for this work role.

New Delhi – Vasant Kunj [travel to Gurgaon/ Manesar/ Kharkhoda once a week]

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced and highly motivated candidates to further strengthen our legal and regulatory adherence while driving a culture of compliance across the organization inline with Ethics and Integrity principles of the Company.

You are expected to have extensive hands‑on experience in compliance management and a strong legal background for manufacturing industry related compliances.

You will be reporting to Department Head, Internal Compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Management of On-line Regulatory Compliance System
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the company (such as Production, Marketing & Sales, HR, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, etc.) to ensure timely submission of compliance status as per applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ensure alignment across the business on Compliance and contribute to identification and mitigation of potential compliance risks.
  • Resolve stakeholder issues swiftly without compromising compliance and handling disagreements tactfully.
  • Oversee and improve the compliance management tools and systems.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and assess their impact on the company’s operations.
Compliance Policy Management
  • Design/ review/ update Company’s Code of Conduct and compliance policies, procedures inline with law and industry best practices.
  • Develop training modules (e-modules/ presentations)
  • Organize and deliver training on Company policies, regulatory compliances, compliance management tools.
  • Plan and execute Compliance awareness programs
Communication & Reporting
  • Prepare and deliver compliance reports, insights, and recommendations/ proposals to Management through PowerPoint presentations and verbal communication.
Required Qualification

A full‑time, regular bachelor’s or master’s degree in law (LL. B/ LL. M) or equivalent from UGC/ AICTE approved university/ college.

Technical Skills
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements specific to automotive or large manufacturing enterprise, covering Employment & Labour, Environment, Health & Safety, Power & Electricity, IT & Data Privacy etc.
  • Ability to interpret legislations/ legal documents and determine applicability to the Company/ Business Unit/ Office.
  • First‑hand experience in design, review/ update of Compliance Policies is a plus.
  • Hands‑on experience with online compliance management tools and MS Excel. Experience in Power BI is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint for effective report creation and presentation to Management.
