Job summary

People Tech Technology in Hyderabad seeks a Hardware Subject Matter Expert to lead architecture and product development across complex boards. You will drive design decisions, validate schematics, and oversee board bring-up, testing, and qualification in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in hardware design, strong analog/digital knowledge, and hands-on experience with high-speed interfaces and power integrity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Hardware Design / Product Development.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
• Experience in schematic design, PCB design, board bring-up, and debugging.
• Good understanding of high-speed interfaces such as USB, PCIe, Ethernet, DDR, HDMI/MIPI, SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, etc.
• Experience with power management, DC-DC converters, PMICs, and power integrity.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment.
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC, signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal considerations.
• Experience with hardware validation, reliability testing, and failure analysis.
• Ability to interpret datasheets, reference designs, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide technical expertise in hardware architecture, design, and product development.
• Review and validate schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, and hardware design specifications.
• Hands-on experience with high-speed digital, analog, power, and mixed-signal circuit design.
• Perform hardware bring-up, board-level debugging, and root-cause analysis.
• Work on hardware validation, verification, testing, and qualification.
• Analyze hardware failures and drive design improvements and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Embedded Software, Firmware, Mechanical, and System Engineering teams for product integration.
• Guide engineers on design decisions, technical challenges, and best practices.
• Review technical documentation and ensure compliance with product and industry standards.
• Support prototype development, engineering validation, and production release.
• Evaluate components, interfaces, and hardware solutions based on product requirements.
• Provide technical support during customer issues, production issues, and field failures.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in consumer electronics, automotive, industrial, networking, or embedded products.
• Exposure to SoC/processor-based hardware platforms.
• Experience with BSP/firmware and hardware-software integration.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory compliance.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.

Education
