Job summary

Canterr, Inc. invites a domain SME for shipping and logistics to shape product workflows and implementation priorities. You will partner with the CTO to translate freight, warehousing, fleet, and tracking processes into concrete requirements.

The role demands 10–12 years in logistics product or operations consulting and hands-on experience with TMS/WMS/FMS. Based in Mumbai, you will work with engineering, UX, QA, and operations teams on solution design, UAT, and governance, ensuring end-to-end

Qualifications

• Experience with freight, warehousing, fleet management, tracking, inventory.
• Ability to define requirements and work with CTO in early-stage product builds.

Responsibilities

• Translate logistics business processes into product requirements, user stories, and functional specs.
• Advise CTO on TMS/WMS/FMS workflows, exception handling, integrations, and operational best practices.
• Define end-to-end processes for order planning, dispatch, tracking, e-POD, inventory, warehousing, route optimization, and reporting.
• Work with engineering, UX, QA, and operations teams on solution design, UAT, and release readiness.
• Validate customer use cases across freight, warehousing, 3PL/4PL, and industry-specific logistics.
• Support demos, pilots, process mapping, and implementation governance.

Job description

Purpose: Act as the domain SME for shipping, logistics, TMS, WMS, and FMS, helping the CTO define product workflows, functional scope, and implementation priorities.

Experience: 10-12 years in logistics/supply chain product or operations consulting, with strong exposure to freight, warehousing, fleet management, shipment tracking, inventory, and fulfillment processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Translate logistics business processes into product requirements, user stories, and functional specs.
• Advise CTO on TMS/WMS/FMS workflows, exception handling, integrations, and operational best practices.
• Define end-to-end processes for order planning, dispatch, tracking, e-POD, inventory, warehousing, route optimization, and reporting.
• Work with engineering, UX, QA, and operations teams on solution design, UAT, and release readiness.

Must-have skills:

• Deep logistics domain knowledge in shipping, transportation, warehousing, fleet, and supply chain operations.
• Hands-on experience with TMS/WMS/FMS or comparable enterprise logistics systems.
• Strong documentation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work closely with a CTO in an early-stage product build.

Preferred:

• Experience with 3PL/4PL platforms, multi-modal logistics, real-time tracking, and analytics-led operations.
• Background in product consulting, solution design, or business architecture.
