Job summary

Rempact in Bengaluru is seeking a senior planning leader to bridge commercial strategy and factory execution. You will translate demand and commercial planning into a robust S&OP framework, define KPIs, and drive outcomes aligned with company objectives.

This role leads end-to-end S&OP across Sales, Operations, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance, partners with the C-suite, builds forecasting models, and shapes inventory and sourcing strategies to support scalable growth.

Qualifications

• Education: B.Tech in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
• Post-Graduation: MBA in Operations or Supply Chain preferred.
• Technical skills: forecasting, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) martial.
• Environment: thrives in high-ambiguity, fast-paced setups building processes from 0 to 1.

• Design & Institutionalize S&OP: drive end-to-end S&OP across Sales/Marketing, Operations, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance.
• Executive Alignment: partner with C-suite, present risk mitigation plans and capacity bottlenecks.
• Advanced Planning: build forecasting models across categories and fulfilment hubs to set targets.

• Raw Material Availability: coordinate with procurement for long-lead-time components.

Role Overview

We are seeking a senior leader with deep end-to-end supply chain, operations, and logistics planning experience to bridge the gap between commercial strategy and factory execution. This role is responsible for translating demand and commercial planning into a robust Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) framework, defining input/output KPIs per department, and driving key outcomes linked directly to company objectives.

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Experience Required: 10-15 years

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Institutionalize S&OP: Drive the end-to-end S&OP process across Sales/Marketing, Operations, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance to align demand forecasts with supply execution.
• Executive Alignment: Act as a strategic partner to the C-suite, presenting risk mitigation plans, capacity bottlenecks, and margin optimization strategies.
• Advanced Planning: Build robust forecasting models across categories and multiple fulfilment hubs to set production, sourcing, and logistics targets.
• Strategic Sourcing: Identify and source new OEM / Contract Manufacturing partners to meet future company growth targets.
• Working Capital Optimization: Own the company-wide inventory policy (safety stock levels, target turnover, reorder points) to minimize working capital drag.
• Raw Material Availability: Collaborate with procurement teams to establish clear requirements planning cycles, specifically for long-lead-time components.
• Team & Leadership Reporting: Directly manage the central planning team and report progress straight to the SVP/Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Qualifications & Requirements

• **Education:**E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
• Post-Graduation: MBA in Operations or Supply Chain is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Advanced skills in statistical forecasting, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or startup-native ERPs). Proficiency in Python/R is preferred.
• Environment Fit: Ability to thrive in high-ambiguity, fast-paced setups where processes must be built from 0 to 1.
