Job summary

Sopra Steria is seeking a seasoned Skywise/BigData developer in Bengaluru to design and build scalable data solutions. You will work with Skywise dashboarding components and contribute to Pythonic, robust backend processing for large datasets.

Applicants should have extensive Python/PySpark experience, strong SQL, and a track record delivering enterprise-grade code in an agile environment, including interaction with European customers.

Qualifications

• Experience with Skywise dashboarding components like Slate, Workshop, Object Explorer is a must.
• Expertise in Python and PySpark with Pandas/Foundry is required.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript development is required.

• Understand business processes and the technical architecture of the application portfolio.
• Design and develop high quality, scalable, reliable solutions.
• Perform deep technology root cause analysis and performance improvement.

Must to Have Skills

• Python, PySpark, Spark SQL
• Experience with Skywise & Foundry (Slate, Workshop, Object Explorer.) & Java Script Detailed

JD

• Experience in working with Skywise dashboarding components like Slate, Workshop, Object explorer is a must. Development experience using Javascript or Typescript is a must.
• Expertise in Python and PySpark – good grasp of Pandas/Foundry.
• Background in designing and developing high-quality server-side processing in Python. An understanding of how to ensure these applications are robust, with easy to navigate code, and reusable components.
• Experience in SQL and relational databases
• Experience working in an agile team, practicing Scrum, Kanban or XP is appreciated
• Expertise in delivering good quality code with enterprise scale development
• Good problem solving and analytical skills
• Customer facing skills. Worked with European customers
