• Blueprint Interpretation: Analyze technical drawings, engineering layouts, and material specifications to accurately plan the welding process.
• Material Preparation: Cut, grind, and clean metal surfaces using tools like plasma cutters, saws, and angle grinders to prepare parts for fusion.
• Component Assembly: Align, clamp, and tack-weld pieces together using calipers and rulers to ensure accurate framing before the final weld.

Responsibilities

• MIG (Metal Inert Gas): Employs a continuous wire feeding system; ideal for manufacturing, automotive repairs, and factory assembly lines.
• TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas): Highly technical method providing precise, clean finishes; best suited for thinner metals, aerospace parts, and custom fabrication.
• Stick / Shielded Metal Arc (SMAW): Uses a consumable electrode stick; highly durable and preferred for heavy-duty outdoor construction.
