Job summary

Cynosure Corporate Solutions in Chennai is seeking an experienced Welder (arc welder) to join our fabrication team. You will read blueprints, set up equipment and weld metal components to exact specifications.

The ideal candidate has proven welding experience, proficiency with MIG/TIG, excellent hand-eye coordination and strong attention to safety guidelines. You will collaborate with engineers to ensure project milestones are met and maintain equipment in good condition.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Welder (arc welder) or similar role.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
• Strong understanding of welding techniques and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Operate welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, and arc welders.
• Inspect materials and ensure measurements and specifications.
• Perform welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Conduct quality checks to identify and correct defects.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good condition.
