Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and dynamic Site Supervisor to manage and oversee our interior design projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing interior design installations, coordinating with various trades, and ensuring that projects are executed with precision and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Oversight:
   • Supervise and manage all on-site activities related to interior design projects, including installations, renovations, and modifications.
   • Coordinate with interior designers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications and timelines are met.
2. Quality and Standards:
   • Ensure all interior design work adheres to the design plans, quality standards, and client expectations.
   • Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress, workmanship, and adherence to design specifications.
3. Team Coordination:
   • Lead and motivate on-site teams, including subcontractors and craftsmen, to achieve high-quality results.
   • Facilitate communication between project teams and address any issues or changes that arise during the project.
4. Scheduling and Logistics:
   • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and coordination of material deliveries.
   • Manage site logistics, including site preparation, material handling, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
5. Client Interaction:
   • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on-site, addressing their concerns and providing updates on project progress.
   • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality results and adhering to agreed-upon design concepts.
6. Safety and Compliance:
   • Implement and enforce safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
   • Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
7. Documentation:
   • Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, change orders, and photographs.
   • Assist in the preparation of final project documentation, including punch lists and as-built drawings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in the interior design or construction industry.
• Strong understanding of interior design principles and installation practices.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting design plans and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and building codes.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the interior design or related industry.
