Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in interior execution or site supervision.
• Experience in retail/store fit-outs is a plus.
• Ability to read floor plans and technical drawings.
• Basic understanding of interior materials and on-site execution.
• Proactive, detail-oriented with strong follow-up and communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day interior fit-out activities at the site.

• Coordinate across civil, electrical, HVAC, fire, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, painting.
• Prepare snag lists and handover readiness.
• Ensure housekeeping and safety on site.

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Site Supervisor – Retail Fit-Out to oversee the execution of an upcoming retail store project in Gurgaon.

You’ll be the on-ground point of contact responsible for ensuring that the fit-out is executed as per approved drawings, timelines and quality standards. The role involves working closely with architects, contractors, vendors and internal stakeholders while keeping management updated on daily progress.

This is a highly hands-on role and requires someone who is comfortable being on-site every day, following up with teams, spotting issues and taking ownership of getting things done.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise day-to-day interior fit-out activities at the site.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors and site workers.
• Ensure execution is as per approved drawings, designs and specifications.
• Track daily progress and follow up with contractors to ensure timelines are met.
• Monitor manpower deployment and maintain daily progress records.
• Check materials delivered to site against approved specifications, brands and quantities.
• Identify and flag unapproved, incorrect or poor-quality materials.
• Monitor workmanship and immediately highlight quality issues or deviations.
• Maintain records of materials received and used at the site.
• Share daily site updates through photographs, videos and progress reports.
• Escalate delays, material shortages, site issues and pending approvals to management.
• Coordinate execution across civil, electrical, HVAC, fire, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, painting and other works.
• Prepare, track and close snag lists before project handover.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, material storage and basic safety practices at the site.
• Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure the store is ready for handover and opening within the agreed timeline.

What We’re Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in interior execution, commercial construction or site supervision.
• Experience in retail/store fit-outs will be an added advantage.
• Diploma/B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Interior Execution or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand basic floor plans, elevations and technical drawings.
• Basic understanding of interior materials and on-site execution.
• Comfortable managing and coordinating contractors, vendors and workers.
• Strong follow-up, communication and problem-solving skills.Good attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies quickly.
• Comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets and WhatsApp for reporting and coordination.
• Willingness to be present on-site throughout the execution period.
