Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a site-quality professional to prepare and check Quality plans, ITPs and method statements in line with IS codes. The role involves on-site supervision, material verification and close coordination with clients, contractors and consultants.

You will maintain quality documentation, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure adherence to specified workmanship and responsible testing regimes on the project site in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• Preparation and checking of Quality plan, Method statement and ITP with respect to specifications / IS codes.
• Study of specifications of items of work.
• On-site supervision and coordination with client, contractor, site and consultants.
• Documentation control and drawing coordination.

Responsibilities

• Maintain documents related to the site Quality Department, Drawing Register, and Checklist.
• Inspect incoming material for MTC and organize tests per ITP/Method Statements.
• Coordinate with GC/PMRP Engineers for inspection of site activity.
• Deliver Quality Toolbox Talks and conduct weekly site meetings.
• Ensure approved materials are used and traceability of quality checks is maintained.
• Identify non-conformities and coordinate resolutions within the stipulated time.
• Inspect and review calibration certificates of equipment at site.
• Perform sampling and visual checks on concrete, shotcrete, cement grout.

Job description

Responsible for the preparation and checking of Quality plan, Method statement and ITP with respect to specifications / IS codes.

• Responsible for Establishment or Preparation of Design Mix at site.
• Maintaining all documents related to the site Quality Department, Drawing Register, and Checklist.
• Responsible for study of specifications of Items of work.
• To ensure that proper methodology and instructions are followed in execution of various activities.
• Materials Management
• On site scheduled Supervision of Works.

Inspection of incoming material received at site for MTC availability and organizing qualification tests as per ITP/Method Statements.

• Process Quality Checks of Activities – Utility Diversion Works, Secant Piles, Capping Beam and Flood Walls, Rock Anchoring, RCC Waller Beams, Rock Bolting Excavation, Drilling and Controlled Blasting, Shotcrete etc. as per ITP’s/Method Statements at project site.

• Co-ordination with GC/PMRP Engineers for inspection of site activity as and
