Job summary

SLN Projects seeks an experienced electrical site execution specialist to supervise street light pole erection and installation, coordinate foundations, cable routes, and reinstatement works. You will ensure proper alignment, install LT panels, and oversee earthing, testing, and handover activities on site.

The role requires deep knowledge of electrical drawings, BOQs, and on-site safety procedures, with a focus on timely DPRs and material control.

Qualifications

• 25 years of experience in electrical site execution.
• Experience in layout development and street lighting.
• Knowledge of cable laying, earthing, LT panels, feeder pillars, and street lighting systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise street light pole erection and installation.
• Coordinate with civil team for pole foundations, excavation, cable trenches, and reinstatement works.
• Ensure proper installation and alignment of street light poles, brackets, fixtures, and accessories.
• Supervise underground cable laying, cable termination, jointing, and connections.
• Execute and monitor earthing works for street lights and electrical panels.
• Install and maintain LT panels, feeder pillars, timers/contactors, MCBs, and related electrical equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical layouts, drawings, and BOQs.
• Verify site measurements, pole locations, cable routes, levels, and quantities.
• Coordinate with contractors, electricians, vendors, and project management teams.
• Monitor daily work progress and prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR).
• Ensure materials are available at site and maintain proper material consumption records.
• Conduct testing of cables, earthing, street lights, and electrical installations before commissioning.
• Identify and resolve site-related technical issues.
• Ensure all electrical works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety procedures.
• Support final inspection, testing, commissioning, and project handover.

Preferred candidate profile

• 25 years of experience in electrical site execution.
• Experience in layout development, street lighting, underground cabling, and pole erection is preferred.
• Good knowledge of electrical drawings and site execution.
• Knowledge of cable laying, earthing, LT panels, feeder pillars, and street-lighting systems.
• Good manpower and subcontractor coordination skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work at project sites.
