Job summary

Siemens Energy India Limited is seeking a skilled electrical engineer to lead end-to-end execution of 220 kV GIS/AIS substations. You will ensure safe, profitable, on-time delivery while meeting customer, contractual, quality and EHS requirements.

The role requires 3–7 years in O&M/erection/testing & commissioning, with strong knowledge of substation operation, customer handling, and electrical troubleshooting. On-site planning and coordination of manpower and maintenance are key aspects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 3–7 years of experience in O&M, erection, testing & commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of 220 kV GIS/AIS substation projects.
• Ensure safety, profitability, and on-time delivery per requirements.
• Coordinate site and contractor manpower and meet customer KPIs.
• Adhere to EHS guidelines and manage PTW/LOTO processes.
• Plan and executePeriodic preventive maintenance and troubleshoot transformers, breakers, relays, and control panels.

Lead end-to-end execution of 220 kV GIS/AIS substation projects, ensuring safe, profitable and on-time delivery in compliance with customer, contractual, quality and EHS requirements.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Very good technical know-how on AIS/GIS substation configurations.
• Good knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel & Power Points
• Excellent written & verbal communication, presentation skills.
• Candidate should have sound knowledge in the substation operation and maintenance activities, Customer handling, electrical trouble shooting.
• Also should be well capable to handle the site manpower, contractor manpower, meeting customer KPI's and fulfil customer requirements.
• Should strictly adhere to EHS guidelines. Also should be well aware about the recent industry standards rules of safety, PTW, LOTO process, etc. and expert in preparing of EHS documents.
• On site Planning and execution of Periodic Preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance with trouble shooting capabilities of 400/220/132kV Power Transformer, Breaker, CT, PT, Control panel, Relays, ACDB, SCADA, Battery with Battery charger.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical)
• with Min. 3 - 7 years of experience in the field of O & M/Erection/Testing & commissioning
