Job summary

Hyosung T& D India Pvt Ltd is seeking a Site Incharge for the STATCOM Jamnagar project. The role requires leading all on-site construction activities, coordinating multi-discipline teams, and ensuring adherence to drawings, specs, schedules, and contractual requirements.

The ideal candidate will have 15–18 years of site execution experience with BE/B.Tech in Civil/Electrical or Diploma and a track record in heavy electrical projects.

Qualifications

• 15–18 years of site execution experience.
• BE/B.Tech in Civil or Electrical, or Diploma with long experience.
• Experience on STATCOM projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site construction activities for the STATCOM project, ensuring safe, timely, and quality execution.
• Coordinate civil, electrical, mechanical, control & protection, and commissioning teams to achieve milestones.
• Ensure work aligns with drawings, specs, schedules, and contractual requirements.
• Monitor site progress, resource utilization and productivity to meet objectives.
• Supervise contractors and site personnel ensuring quality and HSE compliance.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, client, vendors, and authorities on site matters.
• Ensure timely availability of manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities; close punch points.
• Maintain as-built records, site docs, inspection reports and handover dossiers.

Job Description
