Job summary

Adani Transmission is seeking a senior Wind Project Execution Lead to steer on-site activities, ensuring technical accuracy and strict safety compliance across foundation works, WTG erection, crane operations, and high-risk conduct. The role requires 15–18 years of experience in wind projects within the power sector, strong leadership, and stakeholder management, with PMP preferred.

You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, OEM teams, and contractors to meet milestones and maintain cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with MBA preferred.
• 15–18 years of wind project execution leadership experience.
• PMP certification is an added advantage.

Job description

• Technical - Lead the on-site execution of wind power projects with a strong focus on technical precision and safety, overseeing foundation works, WTG erection, crane operations, lifting activities, work-at-height procedures, 33KV network and PSS and EHV line work. Coordinate with engineering, procurement/Supply Chain Teams, and OEM teams to ensure technical alignment and timely resolution of site-level challenges and HOTO of project.
• Managerial - Plan and lead end-to-end project execution, including resource mobilization, contractor coordination, and site logistics. Drive schedule adherence, lead cross-functional teams, conduct regular reviews,
• Strategic -Align construction activities with overall project goals and business strategy. Identify risks and opportunities to optimize execution and reduce delays. Support in project planning, scheduling, and milestone tracking.
• Financial/P&L -Monitor budget utilization and control construction costs. Validate contractor bills and ensure timely certification and payments.
• Quality/Safety - Ensure strict compliance with quality standards and safety protocols, as per Organization policies. effective implementation of risk assessments, and safe work practices for all high-risk activities.
• Business Risk –Identify and mitigate risks related to construction delays, vendor performance, and regulatory issues. Ensure documentation and traceability for all construction activities to reduce liability.
• Statutory/Regulatory Compliance –Ensure all construction activities comply with local laws, and grid regulations. Also ensure proper application paper readiness for CEA, PTCC, SEB 68 &164 etc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) with MBA or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 15-18 years of experience in leading Wind project execution, Power Sector, infra. Sector.
• Proven track record in project execution and scaling renewable energy businesses - PMP Certification has an added advantage.
• Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and people leadership skills
