Qualifications

• 12–20 years of experience in plant operations.
• 12–15+ years in senior plant/site leadership preferable.
• B.E./B.Tech in Metallurgical/Chemical/Mechanical.Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end plant performance for Zinc Smelter & Silver Plant.
• Achieve production and quality targets while improving OEE, MTBF and MTTR.
• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance and asset reliability initiatives.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced Plant Head / Site Head to lead the overall operations of a Zinc Smelter & Silver Plant. The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end plant performance covering production, operations, maintenance, asset reliability, quality, HSE, manpower, cost and statutory compliance.

Key responsibilities include achieving production and quality targets, improving OEE, MTBF and MTTR, optimizing plant processes and equipment reliability, and driving preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives. The role will coordinate closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Process, Stores and Procurement teams to ensure safe, reliable and efficient plant operations.

The position will also lead RCA, CAPA, QMS, audits and continuous improvement initiatives, while ensuring compliance with environmental, safety and statutory requirements. Strong people leadership is essential for managing engineers, technicians, supervisors, operators, contractors and other stakeholders.

Candidates should have 12–15+ years of experience in plant operations, preferably in zinc smelting, non-ferrous metallurgy, zinc/lead processing or metallurgical plants, with proven experience in a senior plant/site leadership role.
