Candidates should hold BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with 5–8 years in utility equipment operation and maintenance, and must possess a valid CEIG Supervisory License.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in operation and maintenance of utility equipment and 132 kV or above switchyards.
• Mandatory: CEIG Supervisory License.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot 132 kV or above switchyards and power distribution.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for uptime.
• Execute switching operations, shutdowns, fault diagnosis, and restoration per safety procedures.
• Oversee plant utility equipment like air compressors, dryers, chillers, and electrical systems.
• Ensure CEIG, EHS, PTW, and LOTO compliance; lead site maintenance teams.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and prepare MIS reports and ISO documentation.

We are looking for an experienced Engineer - Utilities (Switchyard) to oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of 132 kV and above Switchyard and plant utility systems. The role involves ensuring high equipment availability, statutory compliance, and safe operations while leading the site utility team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot 132 kV or above Switchyard, transformers, HT/LT panels, APFC panels, and power distribution systems.


• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to ensure maximum equipment uptime.


• Execute switching operations, shutdown activities, fault diagnosis, and restoration in line with safety procedures.


• Oversee plant utility equipment including Air Compressors, Dryers, Chillers, LPG/HSD Yard, and associated electrical systems.


• Ensure compliance with CEIG regulations, EHS standards, PTW, and LOTO procedures.


• Lead the site maintenance team, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure timely execution of maintenance activities.


• Prepare MIS reports, maintenance records, and ISO documentation while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualification & Experience
