Job summary

Siemens is seeking an experienced Electrical O&M professional in India for plant utilities and 132 kV+ switchyard operations. You will own electrical systems, lead a maintenance team and coordinate safety and EHS requirements on site.

With 5–8 years of hands-on experience, you will diagnose failures, plan preventive maintenance and ensure reliable system operation across HT/LT panels, transformers and related equipment.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in operation and maintenance of electrical utilities and switchyard systems.
• Valid CEIG Electrical Supervisory License mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with 132 kV or above switchyard equipment is highly important.

Responsibilities

• Operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of plant utility equipment and electrical systems.
• Maintenance coordination and troubleshooting of 132 kV or above Switchyard equipment, Transformers, HT/LT Panels, APFC Panels, Air Compressors, Dryers, Chillers, LPG/HSD Yard.
• Ensure reliable operation and availability of electrical and utility systems.
• Diagnose equipment breakdowns and coordinate corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with applicable standards and procedures.

Role Overview

The role involves technical ownership of electrical and utility systems, troubleshooting, maintenance planning, team leadership and ensuring compliance with EHS and site requirements.

Qualification & Experience

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in operation and maintenance of electrical utilities and switchyard systems.
• Valid Electrical Supervisory License from CEIG is mandatory.

Key Technical Responsibilities

• Operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of plant utility equipment and electrical systems.
• Handle maintenance and troubleshooting of 132 kV or above Switchyard equipment, Transformers, HT/LT Panels, APFC Panels, Air Compressors, Dryers, Chillers, LPG/HSD Yard etc
• Ensure reliable operation and availability of electrical and utility systems.
• Diagnose equipment breakdowns and coordinate corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure maintenance activities are carried out safely and in accordance with applicable standards and procedures.

Team & Site Responsibilities

• Lead the site maintenance team and provide technical guidance.
• Demonstrate effective team leadership and site ownership.
• Ensure compliance with EHS rules and procedures applicable to service projects and the services business.
• Prepare MIS reports and ISO documentation.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
