Nokia is seeking a Site Engineer to serve as PV&T's on-site presence at manufacturing sites, focusing on Test Station Development (TSD). You will set up, debug, and continuously improve test stations, driving R&D changes into production and working across hardware, software, and measurement systems.
The role requires hands-on factory floor work, collaboration with CM teams, and regular travel to Nokia/CM sites in the region.
This role is a Site Engineering position within Nokia's Product Validation & Test (PV&T) R&D organization, where you will operate as a full member of the PV&T engineering team. Your primary purpose is to serve as PV&T's direct presence and working arm at manufacturing sites, focusing on Test Station Development (TSD). You will be actively involved on the factory floor, responsible for the setup, debugging, and continuous improvement of test stations. A key aspect of the role is driving the implementation of R&D-developed hardware, software, fixture, and procedural changes directly into manufacturing operations. This is distinctly an R&D engineering role situated within the production environment, not a CM test technician, supply chain, operations, or pure program management function. The position specifically covers TSD for either coherent pluggable and/or TROSA stations, requiring deep expertise in at least one of these station families.
