Job summary

Consulting Engineers Group Ltd. invites qualified civil engineers to supervise a Surat Metro project. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and substantial field experience in metro construction.

Candidates should have at least 6 years post-B.Tech experience and 2 years in metro projects; Surat Metro experience preferred. You will coordinate with contractors, review drawings, monitor safety and quality, and ensure compliance with specifications.

Qualifications

• 6 years of relevant experience after B.Tech.
• 2 years of mandatory experience in Metro projects
• Experience in Surat Metro or similar Metro/Elevated Metro projects will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day construction activities at the Metro project site.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and method statements to ensure proper execution.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other project disciplines for smooth project execution.
• Monitor construction progress, quality, workmanship, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and identify technical issues, providing appropriate solutions in coordination with the design team.
• Maintain site records, measurements, progress reports, and other project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with Civil, Structural, Track, MEP, and other disciplines to resolve site interface issues.
