Job summary

Tata Projects in Mumbai is seeking an Engineering Coordinator for a major elevated metro project. This site-based role requires coordinating between engineering, execution, and client teams to keep the project on track.

You will manage design deliverables, RFIs, drawings, and approvals, prepare progress reports, and engage with Civil, Structural, and MEP disciplines to ensure clash-free execution and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in EPC / Infrastructure projects.
• Strong exposure to site-based engineering coordination.
• Experience with elevated Metro projects is mandatory.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with design consultants, site teams, and client/ PMC to ensure smooth engineering execution.
• Track and manage engineering deliverables, drawings, RFIs, and approvals; ensure timely issuance of GFC drawings and revisions.
• Maintain logs for drawings, submittals, RFIs, and approvals.
• Support resolution of site technical issues in coordination with design team.
• Conduct and participate in engineering review and coordination meetings.
• Ensure alignment of engineering deliverables with project schedule.
• Interface with Civil, Structural, and MEP disciplines for clash-free execution.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality, and safety standards.
• Prepare engineering progress reports and MIS dashboards.
