Job summary

Astek Electricals India Pvt. Ltd. in Surat, Gujarat is seeking a Site & Service Engineer to manage installation, supervision, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical panels and busduct systems at client sites.

The role demands strong technical knowledge, site coordination, quality and safety adherence, and timely project execution, with travel to project sites as required.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering required.
• 2–6 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of LT/HT electrical panels and busducts.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and SLDs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of LT/HT electrical panels and busduct systems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, layouts, and specs.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, technicians, and internal teams.
• Monitor site activities, progress, and material requirements.
• Prepare site, testing, service, and progress reports.
• Provide timely technical support and attend customer complaints.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and EHS standards.
• Conduct site visits and guide installation teams.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Site & Service Engineer to handle installation, supervision, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical panels and busduct systems at client sites. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge, site coordination skills, and the ability to ensure quality, safety, and timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of LT/HT electrical panels and busduct systems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, technicians, and internal project teams.
• Monitor site activities, work progress, material requirements, and project schedules.
• Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, inspection, and maintenance activities.
• Supervise busduct jointing, alignment, support installation, tap-off units, and related activities.
• Prepare site reports, testing reports, service reports, and daily progress updates.
• Attend customer complaints and provide timely technical support.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, electrical safety procedures, and EHS requirements.
• Conduct site visits and provide technical guidance to installation teams.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of electrical panels, busducts, and industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to understand electrical drawings and SLDs.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
• Proficiency in MS Office and preparation of site reports.
