Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of elevators and elevator components. The role requires strong technical knowledge of electrical wiring and electronics, along with the ability to work independently at customer sites while ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, repair, and maintain elevators and elevator components.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance of elevator systems.
• Test newly installed equipment to ensure it meets required specifications and safety standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues.
• Perform maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and elevator components.
• Handle electrical wiring and ensure proper electrical connections.
• Apply good knowledge of electronics for troubleshooting and servicing.
• Identify technical faults and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed logbooks and service records for all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure elevators comply with applicable safety regulations and building codes.
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines while working at customer sites.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams regarding service requirements and technical issues.
• Attend breakdown/service calls and ensure timely resolution of customer complaints.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and provide proper updates on service activities.

Requirements

• Diploma / ITI / B.E. in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or a relevant technical discipline.
• Freshers can apply; relevant experience in elevator servicing, electrical maintenance, electronics, or related fields will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of electrical wiring and basic electronics.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment and maintenance.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid two-wheeler and ability to travel to customer sites is mandatory.
• Willingness to work at different service locations across Bengaluru.
• Candidates should be technically inclined, responsible, and customer-focused.
