Job summary

Tata Consulting Engineers Limited (TCE) in Pune is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Engineer to manage site execution, oversee drawings and specs, and ensure project schedules are met.

Responsibilities include contractor coordination, QA/QC, safety, reporting, and documentation. 5–10 years of EPC/PMC site experience is preferred; diploma holders with higher relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Site Execution & Supervision: Execute and supervise construction/installation activities at site; ensure work per drawings, specs, and standards.
• Contractor Management: Supervise contractor activities and workforce at site; ensure manpower, tools, and equipment deployment; monitor productivity and timelines.
• Quality Assurance (QA/QC): Ensure QA/QC procedures; monitor material and workmanship quality; support inspections and approvals; maintain records.
• Safety & EHS Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and EHS standards; participate in safety audits and risk assessments; promote safety.
• Coordination & Reporting: Coordinate with planning, engineering, and procurement; maintain daily progress reports and site records; support weekly/monthly reports.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain site documentation including drawings and checklists; ensure audits and compliance; track material usage and site activities

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Execution & Supervision

Execute and supervise construction/installation activities at site
Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and standards
Monitor daily progress and ensure adherence to project schedules
Identify and escape site issues and execution challenges

2. Contractor Management

Supervise contractor activities and workforce at site
Ensure proper deployment of manpower, tools, and equipment
Monitor productivity and adherence to timelines
Conduct daily coordination meetings with contractors

3. Quality Assurance (QA/QC)

Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and inspection plans
Monitor quality of materials and workmanship
Support inspections, testing, and approvals
Maintain quality records and site documentation

4. Safety & EHS Compliance

Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and EHS standards
Participate in safety audits, toolbox talks, and risk assessments
Identify unsafe practices and implement corrective actions
Promote safety awareness across site teams

5. Coordination & Reporting

Coordinate with planning, engineering, and procurement teams
Maintain daily progress reports and site records
Support preparation of weekly/monthly reports
Ensure smooth communication between stakeholders

6. Documentation & Compliance

Maintain site documentation including drawings, checklists, and reports
Ensure proper record-keeping for audits and compliance
Track material usage and site activities
