Job summary

Express Builders is seeking an Electrical Engineer to coordinate electrical, ELV, ventilation, plumbing, and fire-fighting works on large residential/commercial projects. The role demands on-site execution knowledge and the ability to drive cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery.

You will review GFC drawings and BOQ, prepare electrical schedules, monitor HT/LT installations, resolve technical issues with the MEP team, and ensure compliance with NBC 2016 and project specifications.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Experience with Electrical and ELV systems on large projects preferred.
• Familiarity with NBC 2016 standards is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical and ELV works with ventilation and plumbing and fire-fighting for large projects.
• Review GFC drawings and BOQ, flag discrepancies for resolution.
• Monitor on-site electrical installations (HT/LT) and ensure quality and safety.

Position Overview:

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for coordinating with Ventilation system, Plumbing and Fire Fighting works for large scale Residential/Commercial/Township projects.The role requires site execution knowledge and the ability to drive cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Project Planning & Coordination

• Review GFC drawings,BOQ,technical specifications and highlight discrepancies for resolution.
• Prepare Electrical and Low Voltage schedules aligned with overall project timelines.

2.Site Execution Management

• Monitor installation activities for Electrical(HT/LT),ELV and related systems.
• Resolve technical issues with Manager-MEP on-site and provide engineering solutions.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality,safety and adherence to specifications.

3.Quality ,Safety and Compliance

• Ensure strict adherence to Electrical and ELV quality standards and safety norms as per NBC 2016
• Validate installation against reference standards and approved drawings.

4.Documentation & Reporting

Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports for Electrical and ELV with Manager-MEP
