Job summary

MBS Aluminium Industries is seeking a site supervisor to oversee the erection and installation of PEB steel structures and roofing systems at our project sites in India. You will study drawings, plan daily activities, and coordinate with contractors and workers to keep schedules on track.

The role requires experience with industrial PEB projects, erection sequencing, crane operations, and structural alignment, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial, warehouse, factory, logistics park, or commercial PEB projects.
• Knowledge of erection sequencing, crane operations, and structural alignment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the erection and installation of PEB steel structures and roofing systems.
• Study and understand approved structural drawings, GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings.
• Plan daily site activities and allocate work to contractors and site workers.
• Monitor project progress to ensure completion within the planned schedule.
• Ensure all work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct site measurements and verify material quantities before and during installation.
• Coordinate with the design, production, logistics, and project management teams.
• Inspect incoming materials and verify them against dispatch documents.
• Monitor alignment, plumbing, bolting, welding, and tightening of structural members.
• Ensure proper installation of roofing sheets, wall cladding, flashings, gutters, and accessories.
• Maintain daily progress reports (DPR), site records, and material consumption reports.
• Identify site issues and provide practical solutions to avoid delays.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct toolbox talks for workers.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for smooth project execution.
• Attend project review meetings and provide progress updates.
• Ensure proper use of equipment, tools, and lifting machinery.
• Prepare snag lists and ensure all punch points are completed before project handover.
• Support project commissioning and final handover documentation.
