A leading steel solutions provider in Chennai is seeking a Head - Erection & Site Execution (PEB) to oversee planning and on-site execution for PEB projects. The successful candidate will manage budgets, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with subcontractors and stakeholders. Ideal candidates should possess 12–20 years of experience in structural steel erection and strong hands-on site management skills. A Diploma or BE in Civil or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

The company is an authorized distributor for SAIL, JSW, and RINL, providing a range of flat and long steel products, along with JSW Colouron+ roofing sheets. Additionally, the company manufactures C/Z purlins and undertakes turnkey PEB and civil construction projects, offering end-to-end solutions for its clients.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Chennai for the Head - Erection & Site Execution (PEB) position. The responsibilities include overseeing the planning, coordination, and supervision of on-site erection and construction activities for PEB projects. The role involves managing project budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders. The individual will be accountable for safety compliance, quality assurance, resource allocation, and troubleshooting challenges to ensure project success.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end erection activities across multiple PEB project sites
• Plan erection sequence, manpower, crane utilization, and methodology
• Manage subcontractors with defined scope, timelines, and productivity targets
• Oversee erection works (columns, rafters, bracing, purlins, sheeting) ensuring alignment, structural accuracy, and quality
• Track productivity (MT/day), manpower, and equipment utilization
• Ensure strict safety compliance (work at height, PPE, lifting practices)
• Coordinate materials and site logistics, resolve site issues, control costs, verify billing, submit reports, and liaise with clients/PMC
