Job summary

Fawia in Gurgaon is seeking a QA/QC Engineer for Pre-Engineered Building projects. You will ensure QA/QC across fabrication yard and on-site erection, review drawings and ITPs, and coordinate with clients and third-party inspectors.

Candidates should have 4-10 years of experience and a degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering. Strong knowledge of IS/ASTM/AWS standards, welding inspection, NDT, and QA/QC documentation is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure complete Quality Assurance and Quality Control for Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) projects.
• Inspect incoming structural steel, fabricated components, bolts, roofing sheets, cladding, and other project materials.
• Monitor fabrication quality at the fabrication yard and erection quality at project sites.
• Inspect welding activities and ensure compliance with approved WPS, drawings, and applicable quality standards.
• Monitor dimensional accuracy, alignment, bolted connections, welding, painting, and coating quality.
• Review approved drawings, technical specifications, ITPs, Quality Plans, and Method Statements.
• Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants, third-party inspection agencies, and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with applicable IS, ASTM, AWS, and project-specific standards.
• Raise and monitor NCRs and ensure timely rectification and closure of quality observations.
• Maintain complete QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, checklists, test reports, NCR records, and quality dossiers.
• Monitor quality during structural erection, roofing, cladding, and final finishing.
• Conduct final inspections and prepare punch lists before project handover.
• Support the project team in resolving quality-related issues and implementing corrective actions.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in PEB fabrication and erection quality control.
• Good knowledge of structural steel fabrication, welding, bolted connections, roofing, and cladding.
• Knowledge of welding inspection, NDT, painting, and coating inspection.
• Understanding of ITPs, QAPs, Method Statements, WPS/PQR, and QA/QC documentation.
• Knowledge of relevant IS/ASTM/AWS standards.
• Ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, fabricators, and third-party inspectors.

Preferred Profile

Candidates having experience with industrial sheds, warehouses, manufacturing plants, factories, or large PEB projects will be preferred.
