Abacus Infrastructures is seeking a Site Engineer in Nagaland, India to supervise on-site construction activities and ensure alignment with project specifications, drawings, and timelines.

The role requires coordinating with contractors and suppliers, monitoring progress, and maintaining safety and quality standards across all site operations. You will report on progress and help resolve issues to keep the project on track.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction site activities and ensure work follows project specs, drawings, and schedules.
• Coordinate with contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders for smooth execution.
• Monitor and manage project timelines to ensure work is completed on schedule.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure quality and safety on-site.
• Prepare and review site reports, progress reports, and documentation required for the project.
• Review and manage project budgets and costs; track materials, labour, and equipment usage.
• Manage and resolve technical issues or delays during construction.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental regulations are adhered to and enforce safety protocols.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and site staff on requirements and deadlines.
• Liaise with design and planning teams to meet design requirements during construction.
• Ensure effective communication between team members, including project managers, architects, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate delivery of materials and equipment to keep the site adequately supplied.
• Participate in site meetings, offering input and updates on project status.
