Job summary

Wabtec in India seeks a Service Engineer with 3-5 years' experience to support on-site installations and maintenance of RAMS-related systems. You will engage with customers, troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic circuits, and ensure safe, compliant retrofit work.

You will manage spares, maintain a failure database, and deliver site reports in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong communication in English and local languages is essential.

• Participate in customer meetings related to technical and RAMS issues
• Should be able to troubleshoot the electrical and mechanical faults in FT system
• Perform follow-up and audits on the FS procedure application with a focus on the safety rules
• Managing the spares on site and having the follow ups
• Maintaining the failure database and component traceability
• Planning of the retrofit work and its implementation
• Troubleshooting the failures and correction
• Site report preparation in the excel , word and PPT format
• Site reporting

Candidate Profile

Qualification - Good academic back ground in mechanical or electrical/electronics degree

Experience - Minimum experience of 3-5 years of working as Service engineer

Required Skill Set

• Good technical understanding of electrical and pneumatic circuits. Relevant rolling stock experience is preferable
• Should have the experience in troubleshooting
• Should have very good communication skill in English, Hindi / Marati
• Flexible attitude to work in changing environment
• Presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills
• IT literate and fully conversant with all Microsoft office applications
• Customer oriented
